Exhibition design 'Van huis uit' (2007)
I was asked by British artist and theatre writer Michael Mc Millen to help him with the dutch version of his exhibition 'the Frontroom'.
It had to represent the 'front room' of migrant workers living in Holland and be a mixture of a Surinamese, west Indian and Moroccan culture.
I designed and build a typical Dutch '30 livingroom complete with all the details including a bike on the outside wall and Dutch tiles with superstitions in the toilets...
