Muziekkwartier Enschede (2008)
While working for Inside Outside I was asked to create a concept and design for a 1600m2 large mural for the new music centre in Enschede designed by Ector & Hoogstad architects.
The wall, almost 150 meters long, separates the main foyers from 3 music halls. They range from a small, young and 'underground' stage to a large classical theatre/concert hall.
The design represents a sort of timeline between present (young and 'underground' music) and past (classical music). It is a layered composition of floral images, anatomical human figures and music pulses.
