Chazen Museum Wisconsin USA (2008)
While working for Inside Outside i was asked to create the basic concept for a curtain in the main hall of the new Chazen Museum.
My idea was to use a combination of fractiles, math and oregami creating a very sculptural curtain by using elements of sturdy textile such as velt on stitched or glued voile. The resulting pattern was used as the base ingrediënt for the curtain.
This year the final result was delivered at the museum. During the development the idea changed a bit, but the outcome is still striking.
